Developmental edits usually happen after or around the same time as beta reading but before copyediting and proofreading. During this phase of editing, I will work with you to resolve “big picture” issues within your manuscript, including structure, point of view, form, plot and characters. My feedback will include a book map, as well as an editorial letter.
$300 flat fee
A manuscript evaluation is a comprehensive overview of your story from the perspective of a trained author/editor. Each evaluation includes in-line comments, chapter-by-chapter notes and feedback on main character development.

While being attentive to your individual writing style, I will provide line-by-line feedback and present possible changes to help your sentences and paragraphs flow.
.005-.015 per word

This is the last phase of editing before publishing. I will carefully comb your manuscript for grammatical, punctuation and spelling errors. I leave no stone unturned!
*Up to 70k words - $100
*Up to 100k words - $150
*Beyond 100k words, we can discuss price.
